I have been asked to share the sad news that Wing Chow of the OU Club, has passed away. Many of you will recall playing against him. We send our sympathies to his family. Patrick Wong has provided the following details:

Wing Chow, a player from the OU Club, passed away recently. Wing had been playing in the MK league since 2001. Over the years, he played in Division 2, 3 and 4. He was quite a chatty person so many people in the league would remember him. His son, Martin, was trained at Keith’s junior club between 2001 to 2005. During that time, Wing helped feeding balls to the juniors so people like Jon Hall and Craig Brown know him.
His last match in the MK league was on 6 December 2018, when his team, OU Dragons, played against Milton Keynes Cavaliers. He managed to win a match (against Chris Welch) despite the facrt that he had a tumour in his body at the time.
After he discovered the cancer had  relapsed and that there was nothing the hospital could do for him, he (along with his wife Betsy) went to China for an alternative treatment. Sadly that treatment didn’t work and he died in a hospital in Hong Kong on 4th April 2019.
