TORNADOES STORM TO CHALLENGE CUP WIN

The final of the challenge cup took place last night between the young hard hitting MK Tornadoes and Division Three Mursley Swifts who were looking to repeat their success of 2013. Whilst Swifts did their best to cope with the Tornadoes attacking play they struggled throughout the night to keep their 160 pont head start and only managed to reach their target of 13 points per game in 6 of the 20 games. As a result Tornadoes had managed to catch up the handicap by the end of the 8th leg and only needed to ensure they won the remaining 2 legs to secure the cup. This they duly did to achieve a well deserved victory by 40 points and cap an excellent season which will surely see them playing even higher up the league next season. Congratulations to Tanmay, Charlie and Nicolas on their success.
