Kings roll over Spinners in Pre Christmas rout!

The trio of Nick Howard, Matt Haynes and Gary Deakin hosted Alan Cherry, Neil Massa and Nicholas Wong, playing up from Division 2.
To say the match was devoid of action would be an understatement.
8 matches failed to see a 4th set, with only 1 match going the distance.
Nick and Alan renewed their rivalry, with the former coming back from 2 weeks in bed. It was one of those matches that could have been 3 - 0 either way, with Howard letting big leads slip in all 3 games that he eventually lost.
Matt had little trouble with Neil, before Gary saw off a feisty attacking performance from Nicholas.
Matt and Gary dropped the first against Neil and Alan, before dominating the next 3.
Matt then showed his class against Alan, dominating from the start to wrap it up for the loss of just 17 points before Nick had a comfortable 3 against Nicholas.
The match of the night saw Neil take a 2 game lead against Gary, before seeing the scoreline level going into the 5th.
At 5-0 in the last game, the match was all but won for Neil, were it not for the persistent spin and determination of Deakin.
2 excellent serves at 9-9 for Deakin saw him secure an excellent come from behind victory.
Normality resumed in the final 3 matches, as Matt beat Nicholas, Alan wasted little time taking Gary down 3-0 and Nick was untroubled by Neil.

With the Warriors expecting a big win against Phoenix, it puts the Spinners just a few points clear of a Greenleys 1-2-3 at the top of the league!
