Team effort sees Titans back to winning ways
For only the second time this season, Alan Cherry, Jecu and Gary Jones tasted defeat - And for the second time it was at the hands of Premier leading MK Titans.
Flying back from Ireland (the jet lag was immense) was Nick Howard, joined by Guy Sparrow and Santa Claus himself, Craig Brown (available for all your home delivery needs).
Despite playing on 2 tables from match 5, it was still a very late night.
Jecu struggled with the sub zero temperatures as he fell 3-0 in each of his matches (not helped by his own son supporting the Titans). Don’t worry Jecu, we’ll get him some MK Titans team gear next year!
Gary came back from 2-0 down against Howard. After strategically destroying the first ball, he didn’t look back as he played very well in the next 3.
Craig and Guy were too good on the night though as they ran out 3-1 victors against the man with two names.
Alan wasn’t to be denied his hattrick, After beating Craig 3-2, he beat Guy 3-1 and then finished off with another 3-2 against Howard.
The doubles went the way of the Titans, a typical 3-1 grind for Howard and Brown.
Titans are now 2 clear of Spinners with a game in hand, and 16 clear of Monarchs who have a game in hand on the Titans.
