Titans cast their spell on the Order of the Phoenix
It wasn’t Harry, Ron and Hermione, but Mervyn, Ioan and Sarah Hudson, who had their wands at the ready to host the unbeaten Titans.
Keeping his place from last week, Matt Horrocks joined up with Nick and Craig, whilst Guy is off galavanting around Scotland.
The night started badly for Phoenix, and they never really recovered.
Mervyn went down in 3 to Nick, before Ioan staged a brief fightback against Craig, finally losing in a close 4th.
Horrocks edged past Sarah in 3 very close ends (9, 12 and 18) - About as close as you can get to winning and still come away with a 3-0 loss.
The doubles was almost the turning point as Mervyn and Ioan took the first 11-1 against Nick and Craig….. Before the Titans took the next 3.
Nick then fought off Ioan in 4 whilst Matt and Craig beat Mervyn and Sarah in 3 respectively.
Matt finished off his hat-trick against Ioan, who took all of the Titans to 4 but couldn’t get any further.
Howard finished off his night with a 4 game win over Sarah, and Craig wrapped up yet another hat-trick in a 3-0 victory over Mervyn.
Some good matches on the night, but a comfortable 10-0 victory for the Titans.
