MATCH CARDS FOR WINTER LEAGUE 2018/19

Hi everyone
The following is a copy of the email that I have sent to all team captains for the 2018/19 season and I have included it here to help other players who may return match cards from time to time.

By now you should have received your handbooks and match cards for the 2018/19 season (Stephen at Greenleys is still awaiting the match cards which I am delivering on Wednesday evening) so if you haven’t got yours yet then give your Secretary a ‘nudge’.
This email is to let you all know that, for personal reasons, I am no longer a member of the Committee and will not be entering the results onto the web site in future. As from the 24 September, this will be done by Mike Howard/Chris Welch and you should, from that date, let both of these have your emailed copies for your home matches. The email addresses are:
                                                                                                Mike Howard – michaelghoward1@yahoo.co.uk
                                                                                                Chris Welch – welch.chris@gmail.com

In recent years I have found this a very helpful way of getting the results in as the process was sped up and the web site was kept more up to date. I hope that you will continue to carry this on as I believe that there are only a couple of captains who do not use email. However one usually gets a member of the team to do this and the other is going to do the same next season. If you are not playing then perhaps you could ask another member of your team to do this for you, otherwise they will need to post the card to Mike. They would, of course, need the above details.
May I end by saying thank you for all of your support and friendship over the years that I have been Fixtures Secretary and I hope to get round to seeing some matches next season, so will catch up with you then. I will follow progress on the web site as well.
I wish you all a great season for 2018/19 with the divisions being even more competitive than last year.
Regards.
Brian
