Get into Umpiring

Hello,I have just taken over the role of County Umpiring Secretary and I am trying to get more umpires in our area. Table Tennis England will provide a course where you will get help in knowing all the ins and outs of the table tennis laws and rules. This course lasts for one day and is completely free, the venue will probably be the Milton Keynes Table Tennis Centre.
When you have passed the test you will need to be assessed by a current county umpire before getting your qualification and all your kit. (See Photo)
After this you will be able to umpire not only for county matches but also for British League matches, Grand Prix events, and up to Four Star tournaments.
Travel costs are paid at 37 pence per mile and a free lunch is also provided. Even hotel costs and evening meals are provided if the event is some distance from you and is over a full weekend.
