Milton Keynes Auriga were in top form recently in Division Five of the Milton Keynes Table Tennis League. The team of Justin Abbott, Craig Brown and Simon Green beat newly promoted team Greenleys Knights 8-2 with only Madeline Baxter and Hamid Khajehpour winning one each for the Knights and Chris Welch just missing out to Abbott in the fifth 11-8. Craig Brown was man of the match winning a maximum in convincing form. Auriga continued their form to beat Greenleys Earls 7-3 with Craig Brown getting another maximum and Simon Green winning two.
Padbury Planets had no answer for Milton Keynes Sharks in Division Six when they were thrashed 10-0. The team of John Lodge, Neil Carruthers and Josh Lim didn't waste too much time demolishing the Planets with the closest match between Carruthers and Dave Field going to the fifth 11-7.
John Bradbury is still looking for his first win in several years for AHW Braves but could only take one leg off Hilary Warton. Peter Shults was man of the match winning all three for Braves with Danny Walters winning two against Milton Keynes Scania. John Bradley won two and both Hilary Warton and Bill Escritt gaining one saw them lose 6-4.
