Mursley pioneers were in a devastating mood against OU Pavilion in Division Two of the Milton Keynes Table Tennis League. The team, consisting of Terry Lau, Paul Madden and Paul Hooley, who were relegated last season in Division One, all gained maximums against Patrick Wong, Wing Chan and Martin Chan who finished third last season in Division Two.

Ken Hawes, Brian Rainbird and Julian Zeigler (MK Kobblers) all won two each and the doubles to beat Stony Crickets 7-3 in Division Three. The man of the match was John Aylott who won all his matches to prevent his team being whitewashed.

Mark Woodward won all of his matches to help his team secure a 6-4 win against Woburn Sands Mosquitos in Division Four. New Bradwell Meths, who finished third last season in Division Four, beat Mosquitos in the last match of the evening with Phil Adams beating Mark M^cGarragh in the fifth 11-6.
