Greenleys birthday bash
Club celerates 10th anniversary - By Stephen Baggaley
Greenleys Table Tennis Club celebrated its 10th anniversary in style with a special dinner at Old Wolverton House in Milton Keynes recently, with almost 40 people attending the lavish reception.
The club was founded in 1994 as the result of a partnership between local Table Tennis professional Stephen Baggaley and Greenleys Middle School Head Teacher, John Sprittles.
The club runs many teams in the local league and has boasted teams in both ETTA Senior and Junior British Leagues and prides itself on being a family orientated club for all levels.
Congratulations were given to 5 players who have represented Greenleys Table Tennis Club since its inauguration a decade ago. Steve Paice, Tania Welch, John Wickson, Terry Field and Juliet Baxter. Commonwealth Games Double Gold Medalist, Andrew Baggaley was also in attendance showing support for his home club.
