Top 8s, Presentation Evening and AGM

Top 8: These take place on 6th, 7th & 8th April at Kingston. To qualify, players from Premier and Division 1 have to have played a minimum of 11 matches. For divisions 2-6, it is a minimum of 9 matches. Presentation evening: This popular social evening will be on Saturday 25th April, again at Mursley Village Hall. There will be a bar, It is open to all League players, their partners and families. It would be good if all those who have come first or second in the respective divisions or in League events could be present to receive their trophies. If anyone can't attend, please try and arrange for someone to collect the trophy on your behalf. It is surprising, and a little frustrating, that we are often left with trophies on Presentation Evening which have not been collected:
AGM: The League AGM is at Kingston on Thursday, 30 April. This is an opportunity for any issues about the League to be raised. Anyone interested in joining the League Committee should speak to a committee member for more information. The League Committee is elected at the AGM. Anyone who wishes to propose a change to any of the League Rules should put this in writing and send this by 16 April to Mike Howard, who is the Acting League Secretary for this purpose.
